
Aya Khair is a Syrian artist who was born in Damascus in 1979. She took interest in art during her years at the American Damascus Community School in 1998 and received the school's Outstanding Achievement Award in Art. She developed her style under the tutorship of Zouheir Hassaib and also took art courses at Boushihri Institute in Kuwait.
She held her first solo exhibition in 2003 titled ‘Blossom from Damascus’ at the American University of Beirut, and held solo exhibitions in Kuwait and Beirut. Most recently, she participated in the Expo Dubai Exhibition, Syria Expo 2020.
