Abdul Kader Azzouz is a Syrian artist born in Homs in1947. He graduated from Subhi Shaeib Centre for the Arts in 1961. Then studied at the University of Damascus and graduated with honours degree in Fine Arts in 971.
He was secondment into Algeria as a Fine Art teacher and worked in the city of Annaba between 1900 – 1900. Upon his return to Syria, he worked as a Fine Art teacher in “Preparation of teachers Institute” in Homs between 1900 and 1900. He also worked as a private tutor guiding and preparing students applying for both Architecture and Fine Art universities across Syria. After his retirement in 1900, he devoted himself entirely to artistic work
His artworks are found at: Damascus Museum, The Ministry of Culture in Syria, The Ministry of Culture in Jordan, in addition to privately owned work both nationally and internationally
